The VIA Management Cockpit is built with Xcelsius software that can be purchased in three different versions: Present, Engage, Engage Server. For the majority of projects, Xcelsius Engage will be used.

To use the VIA Management Cockpit, you may be required to purchase an Xcelsius license.

updating the via management cockpit

The VIA Management Cockpit is only as useful as the data it portrays. Therefore it is a necessity that the VIA Management Cockpit is updated with new data as soon as it arrives. VIA Consultants offers its clients two updating methods:

  • arw Manual – If your data is contained in Excel files the VIA Management Cockpit would be linked with these and in effect be updated as soon as you enter in new data in these files.
  • arw Live – The VIA Management Cockpit also has the possibility to have a “live” connection with a database – as soon as your database is updated the VIA Management Cockpit will be as well.

The VIA Management Cockpit is fully customizable to your specific needs:

  • arw Secured Access & Restricted View - The VIA Management Cockpit is password protected ensuring that unauthorized personnel cant access sensitive company data. The VIA Management Cockpit further supports several access levels to different levels of management.
  • arw Traffic-light alert system – The VIA Management Cockpit supports a traffic light warning system for your KPI’s. If a certain KPI value goes below a certain pre determined value it will be highlighted in red. Likewise if a KPI is performing additionally well it will be highlighted in green. This quick to interpret system ensures that management attention is focused on areas where it is most needed.
  • arw Historical Display – The VIA Management Cockpit stores historical as well as fresh data. This allows a company to directly compare KPI’s from the past with those of the present and establish relationships.

To open the Management Cockpit you need 100 MB of hard disk, shared drive or Internet Space. To update the Management Cockpit you need at least:
