Define Scope
An initial meeting is held with VIA Consultants to get an overview of the specific needs of the customer. A blue-print of the VIA Management Cockpit is created.

Product of this Stage:

Required from client before moving to next stage:

  • arw Answers to listed questions and any possible follow-up questions
  • arw Actual data that will be used in final management cockpit (helps reduce programming time later)
Develop Prototype
VIA Consultants draft a prototype VIA Management Cockpit from the blue-print with a final layout suggestion for the client to approve.

Product of this Stage:
  • arw Interactive, adjustable Management Cockpit with which the client can visualize the final product and dictate any changes necessary

Required from client before moving to next stage:

  • arw Approval of color schema
  • arw Approval of navigation
  • arw Approval of displays
  • arw Approval of Management Cockpit Prototype direction
Build The MC
This is the more technical, back-office portion. We have finalized the layout, navigation, and display options, so this is the section where we make it all work seamlessly with the client’s data.

Product of this Stage:

  • arw Management Cockpit & Xcelsius Manual
  • arw Migrated data from the client’s databases to the VIA Management Cockpit
  • arw A fully working, integrated VIA Management Cockpit, ready for its “Test-Drive”

Required from client before moving to next stage:

  • arw Access to client’s databases or data-storage areas
Implement The MC
The cockpit is ready to use: the historical data has migrated, and is integrated into the Management Cockpit system. The updating program is installed on a company computer. A company employee is trained on updating the cockpit, and the program Xcelsius.

Product of this Stage:
  • arw Software installed with all patches and fixes
  • arw Product turned over to the client
  • arw 30-day or 4 update-periods test-drive conducted

Required from client before moving to next stage:

  • arw Use of the cockpit for the test-drive period
  • arw Final approval of the VIA Management Cockpit
